my COE journey

This website shares my personal journey toward the Handweavers Guild of America Certificate of Excellence in Handspinning, Technical level. I hope these pages will offer encouragement to those of you working toward a COE, or who are considering this endeavor. Observations made prior to the judging are in black type. Comments after the judging are in white type.

In 2009, I submitted a study or COE Handspinning Master's Level. I did not pass but I am including a page on this website about my Level II attempt.

I would like to thank Gwen Powell and Andrea Longo for making their individual COE journeys available on the internet. Dedicated to my husband who never once doubted that I could achieve this goal.
