Preparation for Spinning: Carded on extra-fine cotton hand
cards and rolled into punis.
Reason for Choice of this Sample: Very affordable fiber and
well suited for preparation by the spinner into punis. I also
happen to really like the colored cottons.

Finishing: Yarn was wound onto a pvc bobbin and boiled in a
soda based detergent for 40 min to darken the natural color. Yarn
was rinsed, skeined, partially dried on the skeiner and hung to finish
drying.
Length of yarn:
Suggested Uses: As singles, this yarn could be a textural
accent weft in a fine woven cotton fabric. Plied, this yarn would
make a nice crochet vest in an open-worked pattern.
