Type:  commercial trilobal nylon sliver
Preparation for Spinning:  Fiber was sectioned into pieces lengthwise and crosswise for easier handling.
Reason for Choice of this Sample:  One of the nicer handling synthetics available to handspinners.  Dyes vibrant colors well.
Type of Spinning:  supported long draw from the fold
Equipment Used:  bobbin flyer wheel (louet s-90)
Direction of Twist:  Z

Finishing:  Yarn was skeined, steamed with  a handheld steamer and dried on the skeiner.
Length of yarn: 
Suggested Uses:  This yarn could be plied with another single of a different fiber to create interesting novelty yarns for the eclectic scarves that are so popular right now.  Incorporating it as the 3rd ply in wool sock yarns would add strength to heels and toes in handspun socks.
