Assemble four different sizes ( Extra fine, Fine, Medium and
Thick, as defined in Part 3: Handspinning Techniques) of commercial
wool yarns. Determine how to reproduce the yarns; then spin
20-yard (18.2 meter) samples of each. Label the handspun
samples and attach each sample and the corresponding commercial
model with its wrapper to a page of the Part 1 notebook.
I think the directions here could be
clearer. You only have to send a sample of the commercial
skein--not the whole thing. Also, it says to label the
handspun samples, however, it is not clear if you are to use the
regular skein label or come up with something just to identify it.
I did check with the mentor on both these points.
