Construction Technique Used: Swatch was crocheted using a
combination of chain and single crochet stitches for the main pattern.
Edging is a double crochet shell pattern. The hook was my
Grandmother's old size 1. Swatch was steamed to set and open the
pattern. Ribbon was threaded through the center chain pattern.
Suggested End Use: This swatch was taken from a pattern for a
Victorian style wedding garter. Completing this wedding garter
would be the obvious choice for this swatch. However, left as it
is, it could be used as a bookmark.
